Smoking
Smoking is the biggest cause of preventable death in the UK. Around 114,000 people in the UK die prematurely every year because they smoked. And for every smoking-related death about 20 others smokers are suffering from a smoking-related disease.
Why quit smoking
You know that smoking is bad for you - but the urge to smoke is so strong that this knowledge can easily be put to one side in favour of another cigarette.
It might help to remember why it's so bad for you, why you might find it difficult to stop, and how much there is to gain from stopping. This could help you to take the step to give up for good.
And with smoking banned in all workplaces across the UK, including pubs and bars, there's another reason to quit - you won't have to keep going to stand outside if you go out for a drink.
Tobacco and health
Tobacco smoke contains the powerfully addictive drug nicotine, as well as a whole range of other harmful chemicals, including the poisons carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and hydrogen cyanide.
Smoking causes a very long list of diseases and health problems including:

impotence

osteoporosis (brittle bones), making them more susceptible to fractures

cervical cancer in women
Smoking can also affect your breathing, taste and sense of smell.
Our stop smoking program includes a number of different techniques. The obvious beginning with a discussion about what you think/feel about smoking and stopping smoking. It is important to note if there are any special indicators to be aware of, such as the fear of putting on weight. These concerns can be addressed deliberately as your session is tailored to suit you!
We use a specific NLP technique to break down the habit (addiction) before the Hypnotherapy part of your session even begins. This technique has been widely used to collapse all kinds of addictive behaviour and is considered highly successful in its own right. The Hypnotherapy allows for those concerns and desires, discussed earlier on in the session, can be addressed adding specific suggestions to increase your motivation and success in not only becoming a NON-SMOKER but importantly in our opinion, in being able to enjoy being a NON-SMOKER!
Further NLP techniques are used to increase confidence in being a Happy and Successful NON-SMOKER! We have noticed the reasons for people wanting to stop smoking have changed. It used to be mainly health concerns, waste of money, having children. Now we notice that most are genuinely ‘fed up’ with smoking and really don’t want to be ‘controlled’ by smoking any longer.
Far from many people being frustrated with the stop smoking ban, people are more frustrated that they feel they should be able to choose not to smoke and feel that this choice, due to the nature of this habit, is unavailable to them. This we understand is simply a ‘belief’ but whilst it exists within the subconscious, the mind will continue the behaviour despite your best wishes
